Josh Brolin is the Latest to Join ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’

After the title announcement of the latest Knives Out movie, Rian Johnson has been steadily ramping up his cast for Wake Up Dead Man, with Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Daryl McCormack and Jeremy Renner joining Daniel Craig in Benoit Blanc’s latest case.

Now, Josh Brolin is the latest to join the film’s star-studded ensemble, with production slated to begin this month in the United Kingdom, with Johnson back as writer and director. Beyond Craig reprising his role as Blanc, details on who each cast member will play is carefully kept under wraps, though one can suspect Renner may play himself, as he briefly appeared in the last movie, Glass Onion, through his own hot sauce brand.

Watch for more casting announcements as the movie begins filming, currently dated for an unspecified 2025 window.
