SXSW Expands to London for 2025

SXSW has announced an expansion of its famous event to include an international take on the popular Austin-based festival. In 2025, fans will be treated to a new event set in London for the month of June.

Per a press release, the upcoming London event will build on a forty-year legacy that SXSW is known for, but with bringing its own personality, driven by the city’s cultural life and proximity to other major cities around Europe.

SXSW London will take over dozens of venues, galleries, clubs, and other spaces in Shoreditch, with keynotes, music showcases, and a look at what’s new in tech, gaming, and screens being particularly highlighted. In addition, SXSW London will introduce boundary-pushing visual arts, design, and fashion programming, with exhibitions and interactive and immersive experiences in public spaces across its East London campus.

More details about the SXSW London 2025 program will be announced in the coming months, with badges due to go on sale in October 2024.
