Yorgos Lanthimos’ Next Film is Now Called ‘Kind of Kindness’

After being called AND since the day it was announced, Yorgos Lanthimos next movie will be called Kind of Kindness. The previous title had created some confusion regarding the marketing strategy for the release, considering how difficult it would’ve been to adapt the name for search engines and ticket selling.

Not much is known about Kind of Kindness, other than the fact that it has already been filmed, and that it will mark yet another collaboration between Lanthimos and Emma Stone. The duo has previously worked together on projects such as The Favourite, with their most recent project about to be released on the big screen.

In Poor Things, Stone plays Bella Baxter, a woman brought back to life due to a scientific experiment. The character has forgotten how the world works, and she took her own life the last time she wandered the Earth. As revived person, she’ll try to discover the magic hidden within the world, even if it’s actually a very dangerous place.

When Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo) offers to show her around, Bella will accept the opportunity of seeing the outside world, even if the scientist who brought her back didn’t want her to. After Poor Things, Lanthimos and Stone will work together once again when it’s time for Kind of Kindness to premiere on the big screen.
