Adam McKay Leaves ‘Average Height, Average Build’ for a New Project About Climate Change

Well, this is surprising. Adam McKay‘s next project had been set to be Average Height, Average Build for Netflix. The streamer had stepped in after the film struggled to find a home, despite the presence of Robert Pattinson in the starring role of a serial killer. The satire also had co-stars like Amy Adams and Robert Downey Jr. attached, but now, the movie is dead.

According to Deadline, McKay is putting that project aside from his next film to be about climate change. Netflix isn’t planning to make Average Height, Average Build without him, so even with all that talent, the movie has been shelved, likely for good. More on McKay’s next work when we have it, but feel free to speculate on what might have been with this other one.
