Warner Bros. is Now Shopping ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ to Other Studios After Shelving Film

Well, this story might actually have a happy ending. Just a few days after Warner Bros. decided to axe their finished film Coyote vs. Acme, it looks like another change is coming. Now, other studios will be getting a crack at the movie, as opposed to it just being a tax write-off.

According to Variety, WB will be screening it for other studios, with the big streamers like Amazon, Apple, and Netflix interested. The Looney Tunes spinoff is a $70 million hybrid of live action and animation, starring John Cena. After many filmmakers raised a fuss, the studio seems willing to back down. So, this could be a small scale win for audiences. Stay tuned.
