The Next ‘Mission: Impossible’ Film Has Been Delayed to 2025

Despite having seen Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One earlier this year and assuming that the follow-up must be all but done, there’s plenty of work still to be done on the next MissionImpossible installment. Well, due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, it looks like Tom Cruise and company are not going to have the movie ready for its summer 2024 release date.

According to Variety, the eighth Mission: Impossible film is now going to come out on May 23rd, 2025, almost an entire year after its original release date. Taking its place on June 28th, 2024 will be A Quiet Place: Day One, as opposed to its previous date of March 8th, 2024. Be sure to mark your calendars!
