‘Deadpool 3’ Moves Off May 3rd Release Date

Even the Merc with a Mouth is no match for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. As you know, Deadpool 3 was one of the notable films that tried to soldier on when the WGA strike begin. Once the actors walked out, the movie had to pause production. Well, that’s gone on long enough that Marvel Studios is no longer keeping its original release date.

According to Deadline, Deadpool 3 will not be coming out on May 3rd of next year. Depending on how long the strike goes on, we could see the Ryan Reynolds superhero vehicle hit in the fall or winter of 2024. However, if things are deadlocked long enough, it’s possible it might even end up in 2025. Stay tuned for more on this film, as well as the other Marvel titles on their docket. Movie musical chairs is coming our way in short order. The Deadpool sequel is just the tip of the iceberg.
