George Miller Would Like ‘Furiosa’ to Play Cannes Next Year?

One of the most hotly anticipated films of next year has got to be Furiosa. George Miller‘s next Mad Max installment comes nearly a decade after Mad Max: Fury Road blew everyone away at that year’s Cannes Film Festival. Well, rumor has it Miller would like to go back.

According to Variety, Miller is hoping to premiere the movie at Cannes in 2024. That would mark nine years since the prior installment. Anya Taylor-Joy plays the title role that Charlize Theron played last time around, with Chris Hemsworth as the villain. We won’t know about this playing or not playing until the spring of next year, but if it happens, it would be pretty cool to see…
