The Golden Globes Still Don’t Have a Broadcast Home for 2024

The Golden Globe Awards have been on a downward spiral for a few years now. After a year off, they returned to NBC last year, though the impact of the show seems to have lessened greatly. As Joey has often pointed out, the Globes have never been a precursor with a direct correlation to the Academy Awards, but they’d carved out a piece of the season for themselves. Well, that could very much be in jeopardy.

According to Puck News, it could be NBC or bust for the Golden Globes. Reportedly, places like ABC/Disney+/Hulu, Apple TV+, Amazon, CBS, Fox, Netflix, the Roku Channel, and the Turner Network passed on broadcasting the 2024 Globes. So, could this be the end for the show on television? Or will NBC come to the rescue? Stay tuned to find out.
