Netflix Pushes ‘Shirley’ and ‘Spaceman’ (Among Others) to 2024

It seems like only a few days can go by now without a new crop of films moving to 2024. We now know of some Netflix titles that have been bumped out of this year, with two of them being potential Oscar players. One is the biopic Shirley, starring Regina King, while the other is Spaceman, the science fiction tale starring Adam Sandler. They aren’t the only ones, either.

According to Coming Soon (and other outlets), Netflix has bumped six of their titles to next year. In addition to Shirley and Spaceman, the rest of the half dozen consist of Damsel, A Family Affair, Lift, and Players. These aren’t the potential awards vehicles that the other two are, but it shows a continuing move out of 2023 for films with big stars in them. Look for these movies in 2024 now.
