First Trailer for ‘Priscilla’ Teases Sofia Coppola’s Next Movie

If one Oscar-worthy Elvis Presley-focused movie wasn’t enough, 2023 brings you another version of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, with Sofia Coppola‘s Priscilla. Written and directed by Coppola, the movie is based on Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon‘s Elvis and Me, and will star Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny as Elvis and Priscilla.

The film also stars Dagmara Domińczyk, Raine Monroe Boland, Emily Mitchell, Jorja Cadence, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, and Luke Humphrey.

Its plot synopsis reads, “When teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meets Elvis Presley at a party, the man who is already a meteoric rock-and-roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, a gentle best friend. Through Priscilla’s eyes, Sofia Coppola tells the unseen side of a great American myth in Elvis and Priscilla’s long courtship and turbulent marriage, from a German army base to his dream-world estate at Graceland, in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait of love, fantasy, and fame.”

You can check out the teaser below and see the movie in theatres in October, with a specific release date forthcoming:
