Netflix Announces ‘Extraction 3’ is in Development

Netflix seems to have a new franchise under their belt. Extraction was a big streaming hit during the pandemic, while the sequel Extraction 2 just was released on Friday (and is an across the board step up, according to Joey’s review here). Director Sam Hargrave and actor Chris Hemsworth have an old-school action series going, with no signs of slowing down.

According to Variety, Extraction 3 is in the works. Clearly, that means that the sequel has been doing well since it hit the platform a few days ago. Hargrave and Hemsworth are set to return as director and star, respectively. More to come when this actually gets going, but it looks like Netflix will have a new one of these every few years, so long as people keep watching.
