On Wednesday morning, Warner Bros. released the first official trailer for the long awaited Dune: Part Two, the sequel to the six-time Oscar winning film Dune. The film is set for release November 3.
The film continues the saga of Paul Atreides as he joins forces with the Fremen and vows revenge against the foes who destroyed his family, having to choose between the love of his life and the fate of the universe.
The stacked cast sees the return of Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem to the world of Dune. Joining in on the sequel is Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Léa Seydoux.
Dune: Part Two continues Denis Villeneuve’s vision of Frank Herbert’s first Dune novel. This sequel will also see the return of the now Oscar-winning creatives from the first installment, including cinematographer Greig Fraser, production designer Patrice Vermette, film editor Joe Walker, and composer Hans Zimmer, amongst others. Shot on location in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy entirely on IMAX, this film is sure to be juggernaut of a follow-up to an already titanic adventure.
