Take a First Look at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn in ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’

One of the more interesting aspects of Joker: Folie à Deux is undoubtedly the casting of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. The love interest of The Joker, Harley is her own successful DC character in film and on television, but this take in the upcoming blockbuster movie will certainly be its own thing. Today, we got our first real glimpse at what she’ll look like.

As reported in Variety, set photos show Gaga as Harley Quinn. She stars opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Todd Phillips‘ follow-up to the Oscar-winning Joker. It’s a look from costume designer Arianne Phillips that fits the aesthetic of the prior film, so that’s not surprising. Before you know it, we might have a trailer for the movie, so stay tuned.
