‘Westworld’ Canceled by HBO

While it may not have had the following these days that it initially had during its first season or two, Westworld was still seen as one of HBO’s crowning jewel shows. Four seasons in, the mythology had gotten dense for the adaptation co-created by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. Well, that’s come to an end, in a surprising decision by the network.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has pulled the plug and there won’t be a final season of Westworld. So, despite the series’ creators recently saying that they were in negotiations for a fifth season, it’ll be four and done for the show. Ratings had been declining, but this surely was still a shock, especially for the fans who have invested so many hours in the show.
