Netflix Will Distribute Latest Adam Sandler and Safdie Brothers Film

This is how we win.

Deadline has reported that Netflix will be distributing the latest production from Josh and Benny Safdie, which will star Adam Sandler in the lead role. The trio made Uncut Gems together in 2019, which was received to critical and commercial acclaim. Sandler won an Independent Spirit Award in 2020 for his performance as Howard Ratner, with many critics hailing it as the best role of his career.

Netflix handled the international distribution for Uncut Gems, while A24 released the film domestically. Not much is currently known about the movie, only that it will begin production in the second quarter of 2023 (a potential 2024 Awards contender?) and will be set in the world of high-end card collecting.

No other cast details have been announced, but if Sandler and the Safdies are reuniting, then Wayne Diamond has to be in it. Please make it happen.
