Awards Radar Community: Which TIFF Titles Are You Most Eager to See?

Earlier this month, I attended the Toronto International Film Festival, seeing nearly two dozen movies in the process (read all about it here). Now, a bit removed from the fest (and with some much needed sleep having been had), we’ve seen a few TIFF titles already hit theaters. Those include Pearl (reviewed here) and The Woman King (reviewed here), just to name a pair. Toronto is still on my mind, however, so it influenced this weekend’s return of the Awards Radar Community Question. What do I want to know today? Well, which TIFF flick you’re most anticipating, of course! Whichever festival title (or titles) you’re the most eager to see, we want to know all about it…

The most obvious films are, of course, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Fabelmans, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and The Whale. That quartet (reviewed here, here, here, and here) offer up a wide range of high quality cinema, from some of our most interesting filmmakers. They were among the TIFF highlights for me, so perhaps they rank highly for you as well?

Universal Pictures

There’s also other choices, of course. Maybe you’re more partial to Bros (here), Empire of Light (here), or The Good Nurse (here)? Maybe it’s Devotion (here) or Women Talking (here)? Whatever you’re partial to, we’re keen to hear about it. These are just some of the titles we reviewed. There were plenty of others at TIFF that I wasn’t able to get to, so they’re certainly on the table as well.

Now, the choice is yours. Which Toronto titles are you most excited to check out? Whichever film or films you’re partial to, let us know! TIFF is in the rearview mirror, but that just means movies are on the way, so stay tuned…
