Episode six of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law begins with Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) being invited to the wedding of a childhood friend. When Jen arrives at the wedding as She-Hulk, the bride–and her friend–Lulu (Patti Harrison), tells her that she just wants her to be just Jen.
Meanwhile, Jen’s friends and coworkers Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) and Mallory (Renee Elise Goldsberry) work a divorce case against a superhero known by the name Mr. Immortal (David Pasquesi) who has faked his death several times over his life to escape his numerous marriages. Eight of his exes had filed suits after discovering his hidden immortality on a superhero leak website.
During the wedding, Lulu has Jen doing many menial tasks due to the service crew quitting, including cleaning up a table and ironing groomsmens shirts. At the wedding, Titania (Jameela Jamil) arrives, invited by one of the groom’s friends that she is dating. This causes Jen to feel uncomfortable, but she soon eases up as she meets and befriends Josh, another friend of the groom. While throwing up, Titania attacks Jen and they get into a scuffle. Jen turns into She-Hulk and fights back. She knocks down Titania, who leaves embarrassed.
Nikki and Mallory find She-Hulk on the superhero leak site, Intelligencia, and they find multiple death threats placed there by trolls, but they eventually decide not to tell Jen about it. Nikki later leaves Jen a voicemail telling her all about it. We are then shown an anonymous organization tracking Jen and planning on ways to get her blood samples.
Episode six of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law carries on the humor and charm, but now finally introduces a looming threat, something that hasn’t been teased on this show in many episodes. Nearing the show’s end, it’s a breath of fresh air having a potential threat that could bring us to a powerful and action packed finale.
