Trailer Released for Tyler Perry’s ‘A Jazzman’s Blues’

Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming film A Jazzman’s Blues, which was written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry. Alongside the trailer debut, they announced a release date set for September 23rd. Perry wrote the screenplay back in 1995, but didn’t get a chance to produce it until now.

The film’s cast includes names such as Joshua Boone, Amirah Vann, Solea Pfeiffer, Austin Scott, and Milauna Jemai Jackson. A Jazzman’s Blues tells the story of a forbidden romance between Bayou (Boone) and Leanne (Pfeiffer). The movie will premiere on September 11th, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
