Emily Blunt Joins the Cast of David Leitch’s Next Action Blockbuster, ‘The Fall Guy’

Emily Blunt has joined the cast of David Leitch‘s next movie, The Fall Guy. Universal will distribute the action adventure, which will be inspired by the popular 80’s television series of the same name. In that show, Lee Majors plays Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who uses his knowledge with vehicles, stunts and special effects to be a bounty hunter as a side job.

Ryan Gosling is set to star as the protagonist of the movie, while Drew Pearce wrote the screenplay. Pearce previously collaborated with Leitch on Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw. Original Fall Guy series creator Glen A. Larson will serve as an executive producer.

The film recently received a release date of March 1st, 2024. Production will start in Australia this fall. The project was first announced back in September of 2020, when Gosling was officially attach to star and Leitch was announced to be directing.
