‘Strange New Worlds’ Becomes the Most-Watched ‘Star Trek’ Original Series Debut on Paramount+

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has set a new record for the franchise on Paramount+. The streaming platform announced today that the series scored the biggest debut for a show related to Star Trek over its first 90 days.

Star Trek fans all over the world embraced this incredible new Star Trek journey,” said Tanya Giles, chief programming officer of Paramount Streaming. “We are thrilled that the Star Trek universe continues to be one of the most-watched franchises on the service.”

The show tells the story of Captain Christopher Pike, during the years before he manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Anson Mount plays the iconic character, while Rebecca Romijn stars as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is now available to stream exclusively on Paramount+. The series was extensively covered episode by episode on The ‘Verse! podcast which is featured weekly on Awards Radar. Be sure to give it a listen after watching each episode.
