‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ To Release in 2024

If you’re still devastated by the Batgirl news (and you’re not alone, as Joey and Myles have some strong thoughts coming tomorrow on the Awards Radar Podcast), this could rub you the wrong way. As Warner Bros. Discovery cancels a *nearly complete film*, the studio has officially greenlit Todd Phillips Joker: Folie à Deux and confirms that the film will be releasing in 2024.

Co-written by Phillips and Scott Silver, Joker: Folie à Deux will star Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, who is confirmed to play Harley Quinn in the movie. It will be released exclusively in theatres on October 4, 2024.

The movie would also take place mostly in Arkham Asylum, with production to begin this December.
