In an interview with GQ magazine, Bullet Train star Brad Pitt has expressed that he feels he is on the “last leg” of his movie career:
“I consider myself on my last leg. This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?”
Though Pitt does not elaborate on the “last leg” of his career, it certainly gives us a glimpse of where he wants his next projects to be. Pitt recently appeared in The Lost City in a minor role, and will next be seen in Bullet Train and Damien Chazelle‘s Babylon, but the actor has a couple of projects in development, including a Formula One movie directed by Joseph Kosinski on a racing driver who comes out of retirement to compete against a rookie.
Having recently won an Academy Award for his role in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, it seems as though Pitt wants to expand his range as an actor for his “last leg,” and possibly accept roles he hasn’t played before, while also producing films with his Plan B company. Though only time will tell what Pitt really meant with his “last leg,” and which roles will be his last…
