First Trailer for ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Sees the Return of the Sanderson Sisters

The first trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 has been released. A sequel to the Kenny Ortega 1993 film, Anne Fletcher takes the director’s chair, with a screenplay by Jen D’Angelo. The film stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, Doug Jones, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale, and Sam Richardson.

Its plot synopsis reads: “It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”
