First Trailer for Disney’s ‘Strange World’ Sees a Throwback To Old Sci-Fi Movies

The first trailer for Disney’s latest animated venture, Strange World, has been released online, in anticipation of Lightyear‘s release next week. Directed by Don Hall, and with a screenplay by Qui Nguyen, the movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Searcher Clade and Alan Tudyk in an undisclosed role.

Its plot synopsis reads: “Jake Gyllenhaal (“The Guilty,” “Spider-Man: Far from Home”) lends his voice to Searcher Clade, the son of a steadfast explorer.
