‘A Simple Favor’ Sequel Announced: Paul Feig, Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively to Return

The sequel to A Simple Favor has been announced by both Lionsgate and Amazon Prime Video. Paul Feig will be returning to direct it, while Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively will return to reprise their respective roles as Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson/Hope McLanden/Faith McLanden.

Jessica Sharzer, who wrote the first film, is also coming back to write the script, and will also executive produce with Feig and Laura Fischer.

Unlike the first film, which was released theatrically, its sequel will debut on Amazon Prime Video, with Amazon Studios distributing the film with Lionsgate.
