‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Parts 1 and 2’ Delayed to 2023 and 2024

It was announced yesterday that Sony Pictures has rearranged its release calendar for 2023 and 2024, which includes high profile films such as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Madame Web.

Firstly, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: Part 1 has been moved from October 7th, 2022, to June 2nd, 2023, with Part 2 now releasing on March 29, 2024. Another Sony/Marvel film, Madame Web, will be opening on July 7, 2023.

Also in the release date announcements, The Equalizer 3 will be hitting screens on September 1st, 2023, and their live-action/animation hybrid comedy Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile will open on October 7th of this year. For awards season, the studio’s war epic, Devotion, will open in limited screens on October 14th and the 21st, before releasing wide on the 28th.
