Peter Ramsey to Direct At Least One Episode of ‘Ahsoka’

As the Ahsoka Disney+ series is gearing up production, The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey will be helming the series, for at least one episode.

The series would enter production later this month, while its episode count and its directors have not been officially revealed by Lucasfilm and/or Disney+. Should Peter Ramsey be confirmed as a director from Lucasfilm, it would mark the first live-action project he is fully helming, having previously worked on second unit work for films such as Poetic Justice and Roland Emmerich‘s Godzilla.

Ahsoka will star Rosario Dawson as the titular character, while Ray Stevenson, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivana Sakho, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Hayden Christiensen round up the cast. The series was written by The Mandalorian co-creators Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, who are both executive producing.
