In its second week of release, Matt Reeves‘ The Batman dropped 51% from last weekend’s ticket sales, earning a total of $66 million across 4,417 locations. Even still, the Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz-led superhero blockbuster easily held the first place.
This is because in second place was Ruben Fleischer‘s Uncharted, which earned a weekend total of $9.25 million across 3,725 locations, dropping 17% locations from last weekend.
Meanwhile in third place was BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul.
Playing for only one of the three days this week, Saturday, the film debuted in third place with $6.8M.
Tickets were priced as high as $35, which Deadline said “might be a record.” (The so-called “live” concert was technically slightly tape-delayed in North America, since it actually occurred at about 3:45 A.M. Eastern Standard Time.)
