Interview: Oliver Stone Discusses ‘JFK Revisited’ and His Career

When I think of Oliver Stone and his filmography, or really when most folks think about it, the first title that comes to mind is JFK. Now, Stone has made other films (and even won an Academy Award for a different one), but this Oscar-winning movie is pretty much always going to be synonymous with his name. So, while I also admire other flicks of his, as you’ll see below, JFK holds a special place in cinema. It even has stayed that way for Stone himself, as you’ll see in his two most recent works. There’s the television documentary miniseries JFK: Destiny Betrayed, as well as the feature length doc JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass. In conjunction with the impending release of both, I was recently given the chance to Zoom with the award-winning filmmaker. That talk comes your way today…

Below, you can see my conversation with Stone. Of course, since this discussion was set up due to the impending release of his documentaries JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass and JFK: Destiny Betrayed, JFK comes up. However, I did want to talk as much about his career as anything, which he was more than willing to indulge me on. In fact, he seemed downright tickled that I began by bringing up Talk Radio. He’s very friendly, while still being very much Oliver Stone, in all of his glory. It’s a short chat, but a good one, so I hope you all give it, as well as the doc, a look!

Here now is my interview with JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass filmmaker and Oscar winner Oliver Stone. Enjoy:

JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass is available to watch this weekend!
