SAG Awards Top Prizes Include ‘CODA’ and Jessica Chastain!

Well now. We potentially have some races now, don’t we? Just moments ago, the 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards wrapped up, with the requisite surprises to make the rest of awards season very interesting. SAG went with some of the expected frontrunners, like Ariana DeBose in Best Supporting Actress for West Side Story and Will Smith in Best Actor for King Richard. Both of them can start clearing space for their Academy Awards. However, SAG may have changed the course of Best Supporting Actor by giving their prize to Troy Kotsur for CODA. Then, there’s Best Actress, where the voters choice chaos and selected Jessica Chastain for The Eyes of Tammy Faye. Lots to ponder here, as you might imagine…
