Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Others to Join Wes Anderson’s Upcoming Netflix Film

Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel, and Ben Kingsley have all signed on to join Wes Anderson’s upcoming film adaptation for Netflix.

The film adapts Roald Dahl’s short story collection The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More. While it has not been announced what roles Fiennes, Patel, and Kingsley will be playing, Cumberbatch is slated to portray Henry Sugar as well as other characters in the film.

This film marks the second time Wes Anderson has directed an adaptation of Dahl’s, having previously directed Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009. This film additionally marks Wes Anderson’s second film production following the widely acclaimed The French Dispatch, having wrapped production recently on his upcoming film in Spain. With two forthcoming films under his belt, it’ll be quite hard to wait for what Anderson has in store.
