Happy Holidays everyone! Whether you celebrate Christmas or not (personally, I don’t, or…well…used to, since I now date someone who loves the holiday), I sincerely hope you enjoy the day. The entire Awards Radar team does, too. They all have the day off, and rightly so. It’s a good day to spend away from work, if possible. Whether you’re with family and friends, or alone (COVID related or not), curl up with a good movie or some quality television. That’s my rather simple wish for you all on this Saturday. That and, you know, health/well being. That should go without saying these days.
Last year, I debuted new predictions on Christmas Day. This year, it was Christmas Eve. I will, however, share my message from last year, since it rings truer than expected:
First of all, from all of us at Awards Radar, have a happy and safe holiday today! Obviously, this is again a day meant for family and friends that instead needs to be spent apart from them, but the light can be seen at the end of the tunnel. Thanksgiving was hard, this is hard, but we’re going to get through it. So, whatever you can do/need to do in order to make it a pleasant day, do that. For me, I’ll be taking it easy, but of course, I couldn’t resist giving you dear readers a gift. So, we have new predictions to share with you all!
As we deal with a big COVID spike, some of your plans may have been disrupted today. I know mine were. Just remember, temporary pleasure doesn’t stack up with permanent health. Get vaccinated. Get your booster. Wear your mask. There are tools at our disposal. We should use them, not just to get through this quicker, but as a sign of respect for our fellow citizens.
Now, go off and have a great holiday. Next week brings my yearly wrap-up pieces, including my personal awards. So, look forward to that. In the meantime, stay safe…

Enjoy your Christmas Day!
