Bidding War Erupts Over Brad Pitt, Joseph Kosinski, Lewis Hamilton Racing Film

A bidding war erupted Friday for an upcoming racing project featuring some Hollywood names that has studios and streamers trying to get their hands on it, and it’s an all-out war out there between various different studios.

The untitled project has Brad Pitt attached to star and Joseph Kosinski, the filmmaker behind the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick, attached to direct.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer and screenwriter Ehren Kruger, who worked with Kosinski on Maverick, are also part of the upcoming project. According to sources, offers have been coming in from studios including Paramount, MGM, Sony, and Universal as well as streamers Netflix, Apple, Amazon, and Disney.

There is also a rumor that Lewis Hamilton, the British modern racing legend, is also involved with the project.

As for what studio will end up getting their hands on the project to make it official is yet to be known, but whoever ends up winning the bidding war is sure to be looking at a future hit on their hands.
