Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline to Star in Alfonso Cuaron Series For Apple

For his first series on Apple TV+, Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuaron has brought on Academy-Award winners Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline to star.

The series in question is a thriller called Disclaimer, it’s based on the novel by Renee Knight, and it will be written, directed and executive produced by Cuaron. The series was ordered straight-to-series and is the first project by Cuaron under his multiple project deal with Apple.

The novel Disclaimer is about a TV documentary journalist named Catherine Ravenscroft, who will be played by Blanchett. When a novel written by a widower appears in front of Ravenscroft, she is horrified to discover that she is a key character in the novel, which reveals some of her deepest and darkest secrets. The widower will be played by Kline.

It is currently unknown when the series will hit the streaming service.
