‘The Lost Daughter’ Emerges Victorious at the Gotham Awards

The 2021 Gotham Awards are now in the books, having taken place Monday night in New York City at Cipriani Wall Street. Leading the way was Maggie Gyllenhaal‘s The Lost Daughter with four prizes, including Best Feature. Other prizes for the Netflix film included Gyllenhaal receiving the Breakthrough Director Award as well as Best Screenplay, while Olivia Colman tied in Outstanding Lead Performance. Netflix dominated with their movies in terms of nominations, which in turn led to this strong showing. Will this lead to more awards attention for The Lost Daughter?
