Disney+ Day: First Trailer for ‘Sneakerella’ Released

On Disney+ Day, the first trailer for a new derivative adaptation of Charles Perrault’s Cinderella has been released, aptly titled Snakerella. The movie, directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum and written by David Light, Joseph Raso, Tamara Chestna, Mindy Stern, and George Gore II, will star Chosen Jacobs, Lexi Underwood and John Salley and will be streaming on Disney+ in three months.

It will tell the story of El, an aspiring sneaker designer falling in love with Kira King, daughter of sneaker tycoon Darius King, and will try to pursue his dreams of becoming a legitimate sneaker designer with the help of his Fairy godfather.
