Interview: ‘Love Life’ Showrunners Sam Boyd, Rachelle Williams, and Bridget Bedard on What’s Ahead in Season Two

When HBO Max launched in May 2020, one of its first series was the romantic comedy Love Life, starring Anna Kendrick as Darby and exploring her many relationships and partners. HBO Max renewed the show shortly after it debuted. Since it was conceived as an anthology series, season two will focus on a new protagonist, Marcus (William Jackson Harper).

Awards Radar had the chance to speak with Sam Boyd, Rachelle Williams, and Bridget Bedard, who serve as showrunners for the series, about what audiences can expect in season two, casting a familiar face from The Good Place, and other themes that will be featured over the course of this outing’s ten episodes.

The first three episodes of season two of Love Life premiere this Thursday, October 28th, on HBO Max.
