DC FanDome: First Trailer for ‘Peacemaker’ Released

The first official trailer of a major DC title during DC FanDome is finally here, and it is for James Gunn’s HBO Max limited series Peacemaker, which will be set after the events of 2021’s The Suicide Squad. The series will star John Cena as Christopher Smith AKA Peacemaker, and he will be joined by Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Chukwudi Iwuji and Freddie Stroma as Adrien Chase/Vigilante. Here’s the official plot synopsis from HBO Max:

“A new team and a new mission. All in the name of peace.”

Not a lot is said here, but we do know that the series will explore Peacemaker’s origins, whilst simultaneously giving him a new mission to save the world yet again. You can watch the trailer below and stream Peacemaker on HBO Max on January 13, 2022:
