First Trailer for ‘House Of The Dragon’ Brings Us Back To The World of George R.R. Martin

If you thought Game of Thrones was over and done with, think again! The first trailer for the HBO Max limited series House Of The Dragon is finally upon us! Based on George R.R. Martin’s 2018 novel Fire & Blood, the series is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and chronicles the beginning of the end of the House Targaryen, which will lead into the events of the “Dance of the Dragons”, or the Targaryen Civil War.

The series will star Paddy Considine, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, and Graham McTavish, and will premiere on HBO Max sometime in 2022. Release dates and whether or not all ten episodes will premiere at once or weekly has still been left unclear. You can watch the teaser trailer below:
