‘The Worst Person in the World’ Trailer Has Been Released

It’s been four years since filmmaker Joachim Trier has released a film but in the near future, audiences can expect to see yet another new film from him in the form of The Worst Person in the World.

The film, which stars Renate Reinsve and Anders Danielsen Lie, chronicles four years in the life of Julie (Reinsve), a young woman who navigates the troubled waters of her love life and struggles to find her career path, leading her to take a realistic look at who she really is. At TIFF, Joey raved about it here, stating that we’re “going to fall in love with The Worst Person in the World.”

The film premiered back in July of 2021 at the Cannes Film Festival to critical acclaim before heading to the recent Toronto International Film Festival. The Worst Person in the World will next premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 25th. No wide-release date has been announced yet.
