Stephen Karam’s ‘The Humans’ Trailer Has Been Released

A24

There were plenty of films that got people talking at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival – whether that’s good word of mouth or bad – and easily one of the most talked-about was Stephen Karam‘s The Humans. Joey’s review out of TIFF can be found right here.

The film, which is an adaptation of Karam’s play of the same name, stars Beanie Feldstein, Jayne Houdyshell, Richard Jenkins, Amy Schumer, June Squibb, and Steven Yeun, follows the course of an evening in which the Blake family gathers for Thanksgiving. As darkness falls outside the crumbling building, mysterious things start to go bump in the night and family tensions reach a boiling point.

You can take a look at the official trailer below:

The Humans is scheduled to be released by A24 in theaters November 24, 2021.
