Kenneth Branagh’s ‘Belfast’ Gets First Trailer

Yesterday, Kenneth Branagh‘s new feature film as a director, Belfast, premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, which seems to be getting some fairly solid reviews since its premiere at the festival. It next heads to the Toronto International Film Festival, where Joey will be among the attendees to take it in.

But unless you were there, you had no idea what the film was even about – but thankfully, we now have an official trailer to feast our eyes on before the film eventually opens in theaters on November 12th.

The film, which stars Caitriona Balfe, Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Ciarán Hinds, and Jude Hill, follows the life of a working-class family and their young son’s childhood during the tumult of the late 1960s in the Northern Ireland capital. You can take a look at the trailer below:

Belfast is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 12, 2021.
