With awards season quickly approaching, the 46th Annual Toronto International Film Festival‘s line-up is looking star studded.
Included in the line-up are John Michael McDonagh‘s The Forgiven and Ava Duvernay‘s documentary, Colin in Black and White, which centers around activist and NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
The festival also announced their 2021 Canadian Satellite Screenings. These films will air in theaters across the country in order to “celebrate the return” to movie theaters. These screenings will take place on the 13th of September all across Canada. This includes titles like: Charlotte, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, I’m Your Man, Night Raiders and Official Competition.
Another documentary, Julia, focusing on the life of famous TV chef Julia Child was also added to the festivals packed line-up today.
TIFF runs from September 9-18, 2021 in Toronto and online.
