Bo Burnham’s Netflix Special is Headed to the Big Screen

Famed stand up comedian and director, Bo Burnham, has yet another project on the way to the big screen. His self made, Netflix comedy special Bo Burnham: Inside turned heads when it was released last month when it featured a more somber tone than his other comedic works.

The special is headed to theaters for one night only on July 22 in order to get people back to movies, according to Variety.

Burnham’s special tackles the loneliness he suffered in association with the COVID-19 pandemic throughout 2020. Throughout the one man show, Burnham’s signature dark sense of humor and catchy songs each take center stage.

Netflix stand up specials have rarely got such a treatment as this one. Even Burnham’s other works such as Make Happy and what. never received a theatrical run.

With Iconic Events, Netflix plans to release showtimes for Bo Burnham: Inside very soon.
