In the early 2010s, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was without a doubt one of the most prolific actors working. It seemed like every year he would star in some sort of comedy or drama film but for whatever reason, he slowly started to fall off the map.
Back in 2020 however, the actor had a sort of career resurgence, starring in both Project Power and The Trial of the Chicago 7, where he received praise for his performances in both projects.
It seems like Gordon-Levitt is only going to rise up even more as evidenced by the trailer for his newest television series Mr. Corman, which he created, directed, executive produced, and stars in alongside Arturo Castro, Logic, Debra Winger, and Juno Temple.
The show is described as a deep cut into the days and nights of a public school teacher in the San Fernando Valley.
Here is the first official trailer for the show:
Mr. Corman will debut on August 6, 2021, through the streaming platform Apple TV+.
