‘Don’t Breathe 2’ Gets Intense First Trailer

When filmmaker Fede Álvarez released the horror-thriller film Don’t Breathe back in 2016, it proved to be one of the most surprising and successful outings of the year for a movie with a low budget of $9.9 million, even with Stephen Lang, Jane Levy, and Dylan Minnette being the leads.

However, the ending of the film left things quite ambiguous and it was clear that a sequel would eventually come out. In November of 2016, producer Sam Raimi claimed that he heard an idea regarding what a sequel could be about, stating “It’s only the greatest idea for a sequel that I’ve ever heard”.

Well, now we have our first ever look at Don’t Breathe 2 thanks to its brand new and incredibly intense trailer. The film will once again be directed by Álvarez, produced by Raimi and starring Lang, Brandon Sexton III, and Madelyn Grace.

The official synopsis for the film reads as follows:

“The sequel is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him”.
