When David Gordon Green‘s 2018 Halloween sequel ended, many fans had the inkling that more films in the franchise would follow, and shortly after the success of that film, a follow-up, titled Halloween Kills, was announced.
On October 30, 2020, fans of the iconic slasher franchise were treated with a short teaser for the upcoming follow-up to the 2018 entry which obviously enticed long-time and new fans alike. However, seeing as how the teaser was only thirty seconds, some fans were left a bit disappointed.
If that was you, then fear not, because a new trailer for Halloween Kills has just been released, and it’s much longer. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Anthony Michael Hall, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Stephens with Green returning to the director’s chair, the film will be set on October 31, 2018, and follows Laurie Strode and her family as they work with new and old allies to form a mob against Michael Myers, who is still loose in Haddonfield, Illinois.

Halloween Kills is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 15, 2021 by Universal Pictures.
