BAFTA Film Awards Date Set for 2022

Recently, there has been some discussion online as to when the upcoming BAFTA Film awards will be held, and now thanks to an article published by The Hollywood Reporter, we have since learned that the ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

The ceremony will be broadcasted from the United Kingdom on the BBC network and will air March 13, 2022, just two weeks before the 94th Academy Awards ceremony, which is currently set for a March 27 premiere. Plus, March 13 is Awards Radar’s own Joey Magidson’s birthday! The BAFTA Film Awards are expected to be held in the Royal Albert Hall located in London, seeing as how the awards have been held there for several years now.

2021’s BAFTA Film Awards were announced on April 10 – 11 of 2021 and implemented new diversity allowed and membership rules. While we don’t currently know the full timeline and eligibility details for the forthcoming ceremony next March, we can expect to hear details by the end of the year or early next year.
