Brad Pitt’s ‘Bullet Train’ to Release April 8th, 2022

Sony Pictures have set release dates for two of their upcoming films. The first being Jack Black and Ice Cube’s Oh Hell No, which will release on July 1, 2022, and the second being David Leitch’s Bullet Train, set to release April 8, 2022. Both films will release exclusively in theatres.

Described as a hybrid mix between Speed and Non-Stop, Bullet Train, based on the book Maria Beetle by Kotoro Isaka, is written by Zak Olkewicz and will tell a story focused on a group of hitmen with conflicting motives on a train in Tokyo. The film will star Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hiroyuki Sanada and Benito A. Martinez Ocasio.

Oh Hell No is directed by Bad Trip filmmaker Kitao Sakurai and will center on Sherman (played by Jack Black) falling in love with the mother of Will (Ice Cube). The script was written by Scot Armstrong, Tracy Oliver, Jessica Gao, and Rodney Rothman. No further details on the supporting cast have been given, but we can definitely expect a genre-pushing raunchy comedy in the vein of Sakurai’s last film in which a story served as a backdrop for hidden camera pranks featuring Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, and Tiffany Haddish.
